Have you heard about the real-life Dumbledore's Army? Read more from this Newsweek article from July 09'. This Dumbledore's Army is an actual registered nonprofit made up of a team of Harry Potter fans/missionaries that want to eradicate poverty, illiteracy, and genocide. Last year they raised more than $15,000 in aid for Darfur and Burma and donated 14,000 books to children in need worldwide through blogs and YouTube videos. How awesome is that?

Waka Waka Solidarity Tees

MANGO and entertainer Shakira have teamed up to create these cool African solidarity tees for UNICEF. The styles were inspired by Shakira's official FIFA World Cup anthem titled "Waka Waka". They will be available for $39.90 (for women’s) and $22.90 (for men’s). All of the proceeds from the sale of these Tees will go to Shakira's Barefoot foundation, whose mission is to make education universally available to all children. One of the schools receiving profits will be the South Africa East Observatory School.
